Founder’s Diary- Wear the Change WINNER!
Thoughts from THNA Founder Jody Dontje
WOW! That is my response to the success of our Australian Wear the Change- Selfie for a Cause Competition!
Over the festive season there were many people struggling to gain the very basics for survival. While we might have shared gifts and overloaded ourselves with food, others were praying for a way to survive the night. So we decided, why not give the gift of positive change by wearing a T Shirt for a Cause over the holiday season? We were excited to announce the top voted participants who had secured themselves a THNA T-shirt, and now we are excited to announce the WINNER!
We have enjoyed the creative ideas from our Australian participants and we hope you enjoyed viewing the ones we reposted on our Facebook page! Check them out here: Wear the Change Competition!
We must say, this was an immensely difficult decision! After much contemplation and thought, we are proud to announce that the WINNER of our Wear the Change Competition and of our Nepali Gift Package is….
TRAV TRUDGEON! Congratulations Trav!
Trav scaled great heights to gain this supportive snap, up in the Mount Beckworth region of Victoria, under the Lollipop Tree!
Trav is an incredible individual who has supported THNA for many years, by helping to promote our charity efforts, providing valuable funding to help the Nepali people in need, and even being Santa Claus for us at Christmas!
Dhanyabad (thank-you) Trav for your ongoing support with our charity efforts!

“Love is not primarily a relationship to a specific person; it is an attitude, an orientation of character which determines the relatedness of a person to the world as a whole, not towards on ‘object’ of love” (p. 36) – Erich Fromm, The Art of Loving.
